Nakertrans Urged to Intensify Pre-employment Card Socialization

They need to know this program to tackle pandemic impacts

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission B Chairman Abdul Aziz, appreciated the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Nakertrans)'s action that had collected data on workers who had been terminated amid the outbreak of COVID-19.

Therefore he hoped that the government could directly launch the pre-employment card program which is a scheme carried out by the government to provide job seekers and workers in certain conditions with incentives.

"Or provide social aid to them, they really need help," he expressed, Wednesday (4/8).

He added that the agency should be active in socializing the program to laid-off workers in Jakarta.

"They need to know this program to tackle pandemic impacts," he stressed.
